A 10% tax hike that puts mobility scooters in the same class as Formula One cars was yesterday slammed as “ridiculous” by an MSP.
The tax sees mobility scooters classed as leisure vehicles, along with racing cars, and could mean a £250 fee for disabled scooter users.
