Grampian Police has renewed an appeal for witnesses as hopes fade for missing angler Adam Kryszpin.
Mr Krzyszpin is believed to have been swept off cliffs in Cove while fishing on Sunday. The Coastguard conducted coastline searches, while police officers re-visited potential witnesses.
Detective Sergeant Stuart Gray said: “We know Adam headed off towards the area known as the Red Rock to go fishing, early on Sunday morning. He was driving an old style blue Volkswagen Polo, which was found parked near this area and I am appealing for anyone who might have seen Adam between 6am and 10.30am.
“We understand that three Eastern European men were fishing there that morning and they may have known Adam or have seen him prior to his disappearance.
Mr Krzyszpin was last seen wearing a black and white shirt, blue jeans, a khaki fleece jumper, a white fleece jacket with brown stripes and a hood, a dark blue body warmer, dark blue Fila baseball cap and had white trainers on. He is described as being about 6ft and of slim build, with short brown hair and blue eyes.
